The answer to that question is perhaps one of those things that we think we know but struggle to define.
Simply put, a brand is an image or perception of a thing, person or an entity.
A brand could range from the sound of ones voice, the style of dress associated with a person, the colours associated with a company or the smell of a food. The ubiquitous nature of brands is why people struggle to define it and is also why many businesses or individual fail to make a stamp in their market – their brand is lost in a sea of tastes, smell, colour and designs.
